Literary sandbox in the library. The library has a new form of work - "Literary sandbox

Antipyretics for children are prescribed by a pediatrician. But there are emergency situations for fever when the child needs to be given medicine immediately. Then the parents take responsibility and use antipyretic drugs. What is allowed to give to infants? How can you bring down the temperature in older children? What medicines are the safest?

New for our region work with the youngest inhabitants of the country of childhood - "Literary Sandbox" - was initiated by the Kostroma Regional Children's Library named after Arkady Gaidar.

"Liternaya sandbox" is a kind of outdoor reading room for young children, where kids can look at books or magazines, listen to a fairy tale or poetry, draw, play. The task of the librarian is to instill in the child, in a playful way, first an interest, and then a love for the book, as a precious keeper of a kind and wise human thought.

In June, activities within the Literary Sandbox campaign started in many kindergartens and outdoor playgrounds in the Galich region. On June 24 and 28, specialists of the library named after M. Gorky E.G. Rumyantsev and A.N. Lavrov organized a "Literary sandbox" in kindergarten No. 6. More than forty four-year-old kids took part in this event. A book exhibition, games, riddles were prepared for them on the most topical topic now - summer.

The children enthusiastically participated in the quiz game, vying with each other to build the semantic chains of the proposed fairy tales, draw and read poetry. They looked at the books with pleasure, chose the ones they liked the most, told what fairy tales and poems their parents read to them, and asked them to read aloud the book chosen at the exhibition.
In the course of the conversation, the children with whom they study and read at home stood out especially brightly - such kids are better versed in the variety of books, are familiar with oral folk art, know fairy tales, nursery rhymes, remember the authors of children's poems and books.

After evaluating the results of the pilot "Literary Sandbox", librarians came to a firm conviction about the need for such forms of work and invite parents to take part in the Literary Sandbox, because it is more interesting for a little person to do everything in the world with mom and dad.

The library has a new form of work - "Literary Sandbox"

It is necessary to instill a love for the printed word at a very early age. Reading aloud to a child, looking at pictures with adult comments are necessary and extremely important elements for introducing a child to reading, which make it possible to interest him, to raise the need for obtaining new knowledge, new information, new emotions.

Libraries of the region are actively working with their youngest readers, offering the widest range of children's publications. The forms and methods of this work are very different.
The Kostroma Regional Children's Library named after Arkady Gaidar initiates a new, for our region, form of out-of-station work with kids in the summer of 2016 - the Literary Sandbox.
The essence of the action lies in the fact that all libraries of the region that serve readers - children on certain days, namely on every second and fourth Wednesday of the summer months (June 8 and 22, July 13 and 27, August 10 and 24) organize out-of-station events in advance certain places: playgrounds for children, kindergartens, parks, etc. The venues for the events of the library are determined independently, but the time of the event is the same for all: from 11.00 to 12.00 on the above days.
The “Literary Sandbox” is a kind of outdoor summer reading room where kids can look at books or magazines, listen to a fairy tale or nursery rhymes, draw, play, and tell a poem themselves.
In the Intersettlement Central Library, the "Literary Sandbox" started on June 8. Children's Combine No. 3 provided a room for it. The librarian read to the children an excerpt from the fairy tale by A.S. Pushkin, the fairy tale "The Old House" by Natalia Abramtseva. With the children (there were two groups) they played the games “At the bear in the forest”, “Mousetrap”, “Ring-ring”, “Sun and rain”, “The tree grows”.
The "Literary Sandbox", of course, should be held outdoors and in good weather, but we wanted to hold such an interesting form, despite the rain and wind. And we did it! The kids and teachers were happy!

In the summer of 2016, the MB named after M.Ya.Diev takes part in the regional action "Literary Sandbox". Its essence lies in the fact that all libraries serving readers - children every second and fourth Wednesday of the summer months from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. organize events for the smallest readers in predetermined places: playgrounds, kindergartens, parks.

The first participants of the action were kids from the kindergarten "Solnyshko". It began with a literary game - the journey "The Train from the Cartoon". Traveling on a merry little train through the Otvechaikino, Velichaykino, Compilation, Otgadaikino stations, the children remembered the names of cartoons, catchphrases, guessed riddles, and collected puzzles. At each station, active guys received tokens. As a result, the winner of the game was Anisimova Diana, who received a book as a gift.

Then the children looked at books and magazines, told their favorite poems, played and drew, and the librarians read the fairy tale “The Magic Mirror” for them. For parents of kids, librarians reproduced the recommendatory materials of the regional children's library "Talker with a book in hands" and "We read with the whole family." "Literary sandbox" was interesting and fun, and most importantly, with benefit. The next time the meeting at the "Literary Sandbox" is waiting for the guys on July 13 in the park.

Young readers of the Tatar Library also read and played as part of the Literary Sandbox. Here for kids in the "summer reading room" a small presentation of new children's books "Girls and boys! Read books in the summer!

Under the bright summer sun, in the open air, the children leafed through their favorite books with pleasure, played outdoor games. Riddles, a comic summer quiz, funny chants - everything was to the liking of young readers.

And for a loud reading, we chose the book by A.L. Barto "I grew up." Everyone knows her poems. Adults and children alike, like a counting rhyme, repeat well-known quatrains.

Children's favorite pastime is drawing, so everyone actively participated in the drawing competition, illustrating their favorite poems by a famous children's writer.

Young mothers are especially pleased with the "summer reading rooms": "... The reading room on the street is very convenient: both kids in the air and older children with a book are more interesting to walk with a book ..." - here are their reviews about organizing children's leisure time in the summer.
