You can discuss for a long time the stages of his dizzying career, list television and theatrical projects in which he participated and organized himself. You can believe or not believe the rumors. I want to say as an eyewitness: at festivals and exhibitions, his stand is always full of people.

Did you yourself come to the profession of a stylist - or did she find you?

I came myself, and already at a conscious age. At about 19 years old, I went to my first courses in make-up, thinking that being a stylist and make-up artist is probably not as difficult as being a hairdresser who can cut a strand of hair - and you can't stick it back. Therefore, I planned to become a make-up artist, but when I graduated from school, I learned that there is such a profession - "stylist", and took the first courses, and six months later I entered the Moscow Industrial Pedagogical College (now it is called the Art and Pedagogical College of Technology and Design) to the department "Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics". When I finished my studies, I was already about 22 years old, and I knew for sure that this was the work of my whole life.

Which foreign hairdressing schools do you like?

I am happy to attend other people's seminars, where there is always an opportunity to discover something new for myself. Every year I definitely go to London for SALON INTERNATIONAL. For me, this is the brightest European exhibition in the field of hairdressing.
I do not miss master classes from Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy. I cannot say that I really like everything, but I am looking for new ideas, new trends, new concepts there for myself. I watch how the performances and shows are built. I like what Patrick Cameron is doing, some new Italian and American schools. But this is interest, nothing more.

You travel a lot around the country: could you give an assessment of the level of training of specialists in the province?

In my master classes, I teach evening hairstyles from long hair, and, in my opinion, this is the pinnacle of hairdressing skills! This is not mass love. Almost all hairdressers cut their hair, all hairdressers paint, and not everyone does evening hairstyles. Those hairdressers who come to my master classes in the provinces do not go to learn hairdressing at all. As a rule, they come with a fairly good level of training and want some knowledge from me.
All of them are already familiar with my work, they have seen my show programs, master classes on DVD. Those people who come to my seminar want to see a style of work that is very close to them, they follow trends. I meet very talented masters, and it doesn't matter if it's Yekaterinburg or Samara, Petersburg, Moscow, Khabarovsk ...

In your opinion, can a school of hairdressing skills appear in Russia, which will become on a par with many famous world schools?

Of course! We have amazing masters and amazing collections in our country, which will undoubtedly give odds to the Western ones. It is no coincidence that many world championships in hairdressing are won by Russian masters. Hairdressing life in Russia is quite active, as evidenced by the number of exhibitions that are taking place in our country today. A striking example is the Beauty Festival "Nevskie Berega", which I have been attending for the fourth year already.

You have a website, you have a Facebook page; How do you yourself feel about Internet technologies?

Like many creative people, I am weak in technology. But thanks to the people who are around, I lead my life in the web space. By this they support all my activities: they make websites for me, create Internet projects, post videos from master classes, post information. Of course, I read all the letters that come to me, and constantly follow what is written about me on the Internet. But it is difficult to cope with such a huge flow of information myself, so I have assistants.
Now I am making a new site, and soon, in addition to the site www.ruslantatyanin.ru, a new resource will be launched, which will be dedicated exclusively to the wedding. There will be sections "Fashion", "Makeup" and "Hairstyles".
On it, I plan to post step-by-step master classes on wedding hairstyles. The concept of the site will be such that it will be interesting not only for masters, but also for ordinary girls who are going to get married.

Many people dream of getting into your hands, and with whom of the famous women would you like to work, perhaps changing her image beyond recognition?

I really wanted to work with some legendary woman that everyone knows and create such an image so that everyone would not look and say: "Wow, is it really her?"
So I met the actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya. She is undoubtedly both a legend and a star, and we all remember her, but in the last 10 years Svetlana Svetlichnaya has disappeared, stopped acting and appearing in public. Life has changed, fashion has changed, it has changed, cinema has changed. And that fatal blonde that we fell in love with in the 60s and 70s seemed to have ceased to exist. This year she had an anniversary, the actress celebrated her 70th birthday. We made several photo sessions for this event. I completely changed the image of Svetlana Svetlichnaya, ho, she remained the same recognizable, gorgeous, luxurious blonde, as always, not of the Soviet spill, but a gorgeous, dear woman of the Hollywood plan. She's always been that way. My task was not to reshape a person, but to reveal something new in him, to add some colors so that she shines, remaining herself. I can't even remember analogs, so that with the help of a stylist some famous actress shone with renewed vigor with new colors.
I was also lucky enough to work with Tatyana Vasilyeva recently. She is an amazing woman. I did her makeup. I even managed to redo her hair, especially since she has a short haircut. We used various hairpieces, wigs. She completely believed in me and even said: "Ruslan, do what you want, you are such a master, I won't even tell you anything."
My last project was working with the young generation actress Elena Ksenofontova. When I saw her in the theater, I wanted to make a kind of red-haired beast out of her. Elena completely trusted me, and we made a photo session. I selected everything: makeup, hair, accessories, clothes. As it turned out later, the actress was very worried and subsequently wrote to me on a postcard: "Will I be able to match, because you have invented something for yourself there, but I'm not like that ..."
After the transformation of Svetlana Svetlichnaya, many famous actresses called me and asked: "Make me like Svetlana Svetlichnaya." And I understand that there can be no second Svetlana Svetlichnaya. Now I can afford the luxury of working with someone with whom I would like to, and refuse if a person is not interesting to me from a human point of view or I do not like the style in which he sees himself.

What style and feminine image are close to you?

You know, among the people of my profession it is now very fashionable to create the style of a femme fatale, a vamp woman, or to exploit a slight element of sloppiness, like in a public whore. Everything for show, a kind of woman-clue, in whom you can immediately see what and how much - this is not close to me. I think a woman should have a completely different image. No one is interested in the woman-clue, because everything is readable from the very first second. I am interested in creating a mystery woman so that when you see her, you might think: I wonder how old she is? But the stylist did this hair for her - or is she naturally so red? Does she have her own eye color or not? has she lost weight or not? is it or is it not? It's a shame when young stars think that the quickest and easiest path to fame is to become a woman-key; I do not accept this. I like women with a capital letter, with a strong feminine beginning. Unfortunately, my generation has only the last drops, diamonds, pearls. These are actresses of the generation of our mothers and grandmothers.

Which of your projects is your favorite: "Kokoshniki", "Hollywood" or "The Woman in Red"?

You know, it's hard to say. Kokoshniki, for example, is my first project. I've always wanted to express some kind of complete thought or concept. When folklore motives were in vogue, the Kokoshniki show appeared. It was 2002-2003.
I'm a Russian person and I live in Russia! That was what inspired me at that moment! Then I got carried away by the world history of fashion, I read a huge amount of literature. In 2006, when the World Hairdressing Championship was held in Moscow, I presented the Hollywood collection and showed the change in fashion and style throughout the 20th century. At that moment, it was incredibly interesting to me. I can talk about my projects endlessly. It's impossible to choose your favorite!

In the theater, you worked as a make-up artist for Oleg Menshikov. As a rule, directors dictate their vision; have you had any professional disputes?

Oleg Menshikov is a very subtle intellectual and such an interesting and bright person that I took up any of his director's visions with pleasure. I was glad to embody all his ideas and findings. He also had great confidence in my work. In terms of professionalism, I was very interested in the play "The Players", there were only men, and for me, accustomed to female images, it seemed very exciting. With Oleg Menshikov, we set up amazing experiments: for example, in the first performances of The Players, I made him such a curly and funny, unusual image.

What project are you working on now?

The book "The Best 50 Hairstyles from Ruslan Tatianin for All Occasions" will be released by the New Year. These are 50 master classes, 50 techniques and 50 detailed step-by-step descriptions. It will have three huge sections: "Graduation Ball", "Wedding Hairstyles", "Evening Hairstyles". Women of all styles, all ages, even the most capricious, will definitely find a hairstyle for themselves in this book. Here I love and gladly share the secrets of the craft with all hairdressers.

What advice would you give to salon craftsmen?

No matter how trite it is to love your job, your job! We have such a profession that we can stand behind a chair for 10 hours, and if you do it with love, then you will succeed!

Biography of Ruslan Tatianin

The birthplace of the famous maestro is the beautiful city of St. Petersburg, where he spent all his childhood. 1997 in the biography of Ruslan Tatyanin is characterized by the beginning of his career. • 2005 - became a member of the International Festival of the Panel of Judges "Golden Scissors";
• 2007 - Becomes the host of the "Caution Stylists" section in the "Morning on TNT" program;
• 2007 - created an author's album of wedding hairstyles;
• 2008 - Ruslan becomes the official stylist of the representative office in Russia - Londa Professional.

Established not so long ago, Ruslan Tatianin's School is considered the pinnacle of hairdressing skills. Carier start

The story of stylist Ruslan Tatyanin began at the age of 19, when a young man came to a make-up course. At that time, the first programs about fashion trends appeared, clips of Russian stars were shown on TV, which were not filmed in the most professional way. After the young man learns about the famous masters of style, he realizes that he dreamed of just such a work. What could be more beautiful than changing not only your makeup, but the whole image as a whole, including your hair and clothes?

First teacher

Creative activity captured the young man so much that he entered the Moscow technical school, delving into the art of hairdressing and the basics of decorative cosmetics. After 3 years, one of the best graduates comes to the salon to the popular stylist Alexander Todchuk, whose work he has always admired. Tatianin admits in all interviews that this was his first creative experience, and joint activities with a great professional in the field of the beauty industry helped him to reveal his talents.

And to this day he calls Todchuk his first teacher. He was fortunate enough to work in glossy fashion magazines, which first appeared in Russia, and at fashion weeks in Moscow.

New peaks

After 5 years, the stylist who has learned all the tricks of creating new images is invited to the well-known company Schwarzkopf and offers a theater company created by Oleg Menshikov at Lev Novikov. And when the master thinks about staging a new play "Kitchen", he chooses Ruslan Tatyanin as the main artist of the future show.

Later, the stylist explained his departure from Todchuk's salon by the fact that it was not easy to combine so much. For Schwarzkopf, he creates several collections. The first amazed the audience by the fact that the models came out in denim and leopard kokoshniks, and the second talked about the history of red in Russia and sang the praises of the unique female beauty.

Interfering interior frames

Ruslan Tatyanin, whose biography represents a difficult path from a student to a true professional in his field, finds work in a small Moscow salon and continues to work in it to this day, but appears in it several times a week for the sake of regular customers who have not changed the master for more than 15 years. A practicing stylist often lacks creativity, because not so often he is approached to create the solemn hairstyles that he adores.

He admits that the frames of the salon do not allow him to fully unfold, since he comes up with not only unusual hair styling, but also a whole image with an outfit and accessories.

Ruslan was born in St. Petersburg. In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Moscow Art and Pedagogical College of Technology and Design. Soon Ruslan started working in the studio of the legendary hairdresser Alexander Todchuk. A year later, the talented master was invited to participate in the preparation of fashion shows and filming for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar magazines. Ruslan quickly gained the respect of clients and colleagues in the profession, and his career took off.

Today Ruslan Tatianin is known as the author of shows at the most prestigious beauty festivals: "Golden Rose", Intercharm, "The World of Beauty" and "Nevskie Berega".
