Child car seat up to how old. Child seat until late

Antipyretics for children are prescribed by a pediatrician. But there are emergency situations for fever in which the child needs to be given medicine immediately. Then the parents take responsibility and use antipyretic drugs. What is allowed to be given to infants? How can you bring down the temperature in older children? What are the safest medicines?

In accordance with Part 1 of Art. 67 of the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation", a child can be sent to school at the age of 6 years and 6 months. However, the extreme limit is 8 years. But, in the presence of certain deviations in the physical or psychological state. For example, if your child does not speak well, and he still needs to work with specialists.

Question-answer traffic police: Until how old should a child be carried in a car seat?

You take a special certificate from the medical center and write a statement to the local government that your child is not ready to start studying in a general education institution.

Thus, in our state, rather stringent requirements are established for the age of the child, regarding his admission to school. Many psychologists are sure that all thought processes in a child develop at the age of 7-8, so it is best not to rush to enter school. Other experts assure that a child from six years old is much easier to adapt to the school environment than children from eight years old. Basically, you need to think for yourself whether it is worth sending your child to school at such a young age. If you decide that your child needs to grow up a little more, then you need to write a statement that your child will start attending school, for example, in a year, or at the age of eight.

Your opinion is interesting. Until how old do you need to support your child?

There are often disputes among car owners about whether it is possible to transport children in the front passenger seat. While some are convinced that it is categorically impossible to do this and under no circumstances, others are sure that it is possible, and calmly do so. Let's figure out which side is the truth. We will rely on paragraph 178 of the traffic rules, which covers the transportation of children.

In what cases is it forbidden to transport a child in the passenger seat?

It is definitely impossible to transport children under 12 years of age (under 150 cm in height) in the front seat without special child restraints. Children cannot be carried in the front seat in infant car seats and car seats installed with their back to the windshield when the airbag is on. This prohibition is explained by the fact that when triggered in the event of an accident, the airbag sharply and with great force hits the back of the cradle and presses it against the passenger seat, as a result of which the child may receive serious injuries or even die.

When can you transport a child in the front seat?

Children over 12 years of age can be transported in the front seat without the use of assistive devices. It is imperative to fasten your child with a seat belt. If the child is not yet 12 years old, but he is tall enough (height exceeds 150 cm), then he can also be transported in the front seat without a child restraint, but wearing a regular passenger seat belt. Children under 12 years old can be transported in the front seat in infant car seats, car seats, boosters.

But in this case, the child must face the windshield, the car seat must be secured, the child must be fastened using the internal seat belts of the car seat or the car seat belt. Children under 12 years old can be transported in the front seat in an infant car seat with their back to the windshield, but only if the car has a function to deactivate the airbag in the area of the front passenger seat. Of course, if the infant carrier is installed as indicated, the airbag must be deactivated before the ride.

What's the best and safest way to transport your baby?

Experts have repeatedly said that the front passenger seat is the most unsafe. In emergency situations, the driver acts instinctively, diverting his "side" of the car from the impact, so the impact most often falls on the side of the passenger in the front seat. If there is an opportunity not to put the child in the front seat, then it is better to use it.

The safest place is considered to be behind the driver. However, in this position, watching the child is completely uncomfortable. The best option would be to seat a young passenger in the second row in the center. In this case, it will be convenient for the driver to look after the baby through the mirror in the cabin, and while waiting at traffic lights, it will be possible to turn his head and talk to the child for a few seconds.

There are times when a child flatly refuses to sit in the back or behaves very capriciously, which makes the driver nervous. In such a situation, the best way out would be to put the child in front, observing all the rules described above. The calmness of the driver and passengers is equally important to a safe journey.

What is the legal age for sending a child to school?

In accordance with Part 1 of Art. 67 of the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation", a child can be sent to school at the age of 6 years and 6 months. However, the extreme limit is 8 years. But, in the presence of certain deviations in the physical or psychological state. For example, if your child does not speak well, and he still needs to work with specialists. You take a special certificate from the medical center and write a statement to the local government that your child is not ready to start school.

Exactly how old can a child go to school according to the law?

  1. The law provides that the age at which a child can go to school is 6 years and 6 months;
  2. A child can be admitted to school earlier if at the time of September 1 he is 6 years and 5 months old;
  3. If there are any medical contraindications, the child can go to school at the age of 8.

Up to how old is a child car seat required

If you decide that your child needs to grow up a little more, then you need to write a statement that your child will start attending school, for example, in a year, or at the age of eight.

Relationship between law and child development

The letter of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation "On the organization of education in the first grade of a four-year elementary school" determines that a general education institution may refuse to accept children for parents if at the time of September 1, the child is not 6 years and six months old. Many lawyers say that if your child is 6, 5 years old, then you can go to school from October. Indeed, most often at a given age, the child is asked to be taken away from the kindergarten, since there are sorely lack of places for the kids. Before entering school, visit one or another educational institution and find out if your child can be accepted earlier than the specified period.

Another important aspect of admission to study at a general education institution is the passage of diagnostics of intellectual and psychological development. This test allows you to determine if the child is ready to attend school. As a rule, this diagnosis boils down to the simplest questions that the child must answer without difficulty. If your child has not passed such a diagnosis, then no one has the right to expel you from kindergarten, since it is believed that the baby is not yet ready for school.

Baby car seats: what are there and how to choose?

A family car must sooner or later be equipped with a child car seat. When the moment comes to purchase a seat, there are a lot of nuances that should be taken into account.

General concepts

The most important parameter and the main task of a child seat is its safety. For this, the well-known safety standard ECE R44.03 has been created. A manufacturer's satisfaction with this standard means that it has complied with all technical requirements to ensure optimum safety. The standard does not become obsolete, because it is regularly updated in connection with the development of the auto industry.

A complete list of rules for transporting children in cars can be found in our article.

The latest revision is the 1995 version, the mandatory requirements of which are:

  • Security on the sides.
  • The presence of the classification of the new group from 0 to 13 kg (group 0+), as well as color coding. Red - installation behind the course and blue - against the movement of the vehicle.
  • Compliance of each of the elements of the chair with an individual requirement (belt tension force, cold resistance, etc.)

After the chair has passed this kind of theoretical test, it is tested in practice. The tests are carried out with the participation of a dummy of a certain weight, which gets into an emergency.

Children under how old

The test progress is recorded on a camera.

A mandatory criterion for checking is that the doll does not leave certain areas and avoid possible collisions with other objects. The speed of movement of individual limbs and the head of a potential baby is also recorded. This parameter should not reach indicators hazardous to health. Chairs on the market can be expensive, but careful selection is included in the price. It is better not to skimp on the safety of the child.

What are the types of child car seats

Group 0+

Group 0+ is intended for children aged 0 to 12-15 months and weighing up to 13 kilograms. These seats are adapted for hand carry and can be used as rocking chairs. Their fixation in the car is carried out only facing the direction of travel. Also a mandatory item is the presence of adjustable internal seat belts. Some manufacturers have fitted their seats with additional features. For example, some chairs have indicators for correct fixation, and some models include a headrest, hood and padding for extra comfort. Hanging toys, warm bag or raincoat are optionally included.

Group 1

Car seat group 1 is designed for children up to 4 years old and weighing up to 18 kg. These seats are designed for long-term use, so the range of models is much more diverse, and the quality of the body material, fittings and other parts is an order of magnitude higher than that of the previous group. Since these chairs are designed for older children, their functionality is much wider. For example, added fixed angles and other means of additional comfort.

These car seats can only be installed facing in the direction of travel. Some models are specially designed for long journeys. In general, this group is very diverse in terms of tasks and functionality.

Group 2 and 3

These high-backed chairs are designed for very adult children weighing up to 25 and 36 kg (groups 2 and 3, respectively). There is no clear age limit for them, which makes the seats versatile. Many models are equipped with an adjustable headrest or a removable backrest. The straps in them have an adjustable shoulder strap designed for the most secure fixation.

Child seat penalty

Do not skimp on the safety of your children and remember that there is a fine for non-observance of traffic rules. On the territory of the Russian Federation, in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, driving a child under the age of 12 in a car without special child car seats is prohibited.

In the period up to 2007 in our country, the use of child car seats was advisory in nature and did not entail any sanctions from the legislation. However, since 2007, the installation of special devices for transporting children has become a mandatory requirement.

For 2016, in accordance with current legislation, clause 22.9 is spelled out in the Traffic Rules, which clearly states that for the transportation of children, the installation of a special car seat is required, the design of which not only allows it to be attached to the main seat of the car, but also to fasten a baby traveling to him. Failure to comply with this requirement entails the imposition of penalties in in the amount of 3000 rubles for individuals.

As for the place of installation of the seat, here the driver can choose for himself. The main thing is that there is an opportunity to reach the child with one hand. As for the carriage of a child not in the front seat, it is allowed, provided that a special seat is installed.

Baby car seat manufacturers

As for the direct choice of the chair model, it is worth paying attention to a number of characteristics that are mandatory. These include the presence of their own seat belts, the possibility of rigid fastening, as well as the presence of side stops and head restraints. It is better if high-quality and safe materials are used, and therefore many parents choose child car seats from trusted manufacturers such as Britax, Recaro, Romer and others.

The products of these companies are in demand among buyers due to their excellent workmanship and wide functionality. For example, the Recaro seats have many adjustments, a special "five-point" belt system and reinforced headrest and armrests, which provide excellent levels of safety and comfort.

The assortment and details of each car seat model can be found on the website of the OliKids children's online store.

Children are not allowed to be transported in the front seat under 12 years old without the use of child restraints. The use of seat belts is mandatory for the driver and all passengers. Group 0+ Child's weight - less than 13 kg. Approximate age is from birth to 1 year. Installation method - facing backwards.

The law requires the transport of children in cars only with the use of special devices that restrain in the event of an accident. In most cases, the role of such devices is played by a child car seat. Of course, such a norm appeared for a reason - it was dictated by concern for the safety of children while driving.

The car seat belts are designed for an adult and cannot protect a child. In the event of a collision, it will simply slip out from under the belt, and the chance of injury will increase significantly. The main purpose of the child seat is to provide the child with a position where the seat belts can be secured. According to the current edition of the SDA, it is necessary to transport a child using special devices up to 12 years of age.

It, without restricting comfort, raises the child's body in a sitting position to a level at which it can be properly fastened with seat belts. However, it must be borne in mind that it is impossible to carry children in the front seat in this way - in this case, a car seat is necessary. A child car seat (infant car seat, booster) is classified as a child restraint system (RLD) or child restraint systems.

Children's booster. For the transportation of young infants, when the sitting position is harmful to the health of the child, infant car seats are designed in which the child is transported in a recumbent position. Boosters are designed to transport older children. At the same time, some models of car seats combine the function of a car seat and allow you to transport young children lying (or reclining).

At what and at what age should a child be transported in a car in a child seat

Also, in Russia, children's safety belt clips (FEST) are used in the form of a triangular pad. When choosing child restraints, you should pay attention that boosters are designed for older children, otherwise they do not provide the necessary safety for the child. Security by belt clips is questioned by some authors, especially since, unlike car seats (car seats), they are not subject to mandatory verification and certification.

It is important that the child car seat is properly secured in the passenger compartment and that the child is properly fastened in it. To do this, child car seats are supplied with stickers on which instructions are placed that clearly describe the correct fastening methods. Also, baby car seats help kids travel comfortably.

The produced child car seats can correspond to one or several weight groups. Group 0+ child car seats are often called carriers - they are relatively light, have a carrying handle and can be used as a rocking chair at home. Some models can be installed on special bases that are mounted in the car interior.

When the child is about 18 months old, the child car seat must be installed facing in the direction of travel. A child up to a weight of 15 kg is fixed with inner belts, which are then removed. Older children (from 4 years old) are fixed in the car seat with a regular car seat belt. Group I / II / III child car seats are often called universal - they are designed for children of a wide age range.

The Isofix attachment system is considered the safest and most convenient way to attach a child car seat. It practically eliminates mistakes when installing a child car seat. Almost all child car seats with the Isofix system can also be secured using the standard car seat belts.

Up to what age do you need a child seat in a car?

In the United States, the LATCH fastening system is common. It is similar to the European Isofix. The main difference is that instead of metal guides with locks (for Isofix), belts with locks are used in the LATCH system.

Up to how old is it necessary to carry children in a car seat?

The seat was of a primitive design and would not have been able to protect against injury. The task of this device was simple - to keep the child in place so that he would not distract the driver from the road. It was equipped with a seat belt and was attached to a pin mounted in the floor of the car.

In 1963, Professor Bertil Aldman (Sweden) designed a new model of a child car seat. This seat was installed on the front seat with the back facing forward (against the movement of the car). In 1967, the Volvo automobile concern presents a child seat developed in cooperation with Professor Aldman at an international exhibition. In 1970, the German government banned the production of cars without seat belts.

Child seat - why is it?

In 1990, the ISO International Institute introduced the new Isofix fastening system. From 1 January 1993, ECE R 44 becomes mandatory for child car seats sold in Europe. In 1997, Römer launched the first Isofix armchair, the Römer Prince Isofix.

Every person who has a car and becomes a parent will have to purchase a child seat from the very first days of a child's life. Until how old should a baby ride in it? What threatens those who have not purchased this device? This will be discussed in our article.

So, first, let's find out where it says that you need to have a child seat in the car, how old the child should be in it, and what is the penalty for failure to comply with this rule.

Article 12.23 (part 1) of the Code of Administrative Offenses "Violation of the rules for the transportation of people ..." refers to the amount of 500 rubles, and paragraph 22.9 of the SDA states that the transportation of a child is possible only if his safety is ensured. This takes into account the design features of the vehicle. Now let's take a closer look at this provision on such a subject as a child seat.

How old should you be using it? From the very first days of a child's life, that is, when he meets his wife from the hospital by car, a happy father should have a so-called infant car seat with him. Now child seats up to a year are sold in almost every specialized store for toddlers. They come in different designs - both simple and cheap, and more expensive. A child in such a chair is in a lying position (usually thanks to a special insert) or half-sitting. More expensive models are equipped with a leg cover, a visor and a winter sleeve. Modern infant carriers can even be fitted on a stroller wheelbase - many models provide for this.

It is convenient to use the infant car seat at home if your baby is up to six months old. Just put it in the device, lift the handle so that it is above the child's head, hang bright toys and ribbons on it. Most child car seats up to one year old can also be used as a rocking chair. You do not have to purchase a chaise longue and use such a child seat instead.

Up to what age should children use a car seat? Modern designs of these devices are designed for various weight categories of children and are divided into 6 classes, starting from 0 kilograms and ending with 36 kilograms, which corresponds to a six-year-old child.

From 6 years old to 12 years old, in cars with seat belts, you must use a special one.It must correspond to the parameters of the baby - weight and height. If the child moves in the back seat, you can use special pads on. If you really want to ride your child under 12 years old in the front seat, this is possible only with the use of special child restraints. Your child cannot ride in the back seat of a motorcycle under the age of 12.

What is the reason for such an age range as 12 years old? The fact is that all cars in all cars are designed for passengers more than one and a half meters tall, and therefore cannot provide adequate protection for a child in an emergency. If a small child is simply fastened with an ordinary adult seat belt, which in this case will pass over the neck or head, in the event of sudden braking, the baby will receive serious injuries.

The most serious injuries in road accidents are children who were in the arms of their parents while driving, so get a child seat! Until how old should it be used? At least up to 6, then you can get by with an inexpensive holding device.

Traffic rules are almost constantly changing, and any motorist is obliged to follow them independently. The same principle applies here as in other branches of law - "ignorance of the law does not exempt one from responsibility." Much attention should be paid in their own interests to the safety of transported children.

Age-related changes in traffic rules

From 12.07.2017, the updated version of the traffic rules has been in effect. Legislators have drawn attention to long-standing problems, such as regulating oncoming traffic or driving parallel to a tram. But one of the most anticipated innovations was a change in the rules governing the movement of children in cars. These changes are enshrined in clause 22.9. Now it says that it is possible to transport minors only in such a way that their safety is ensured taking into account the constructive specifics of the vehicle.

Babies up to 7 years old (0-6 years old inclusive)

At this age, children can be transported inside a car or in a truck cabin only with the use of special restraints that are selected for the weight and height of the child.

If the design of the vehicle does not provide for seat belts (in combination with or independently from special ISOFIX restraint equipment), such vehicles cannot be used. The new modification of the rules affects not only traffic, but also the parking of cars with children under 7 years old. Now it is forbidden to leave them without the presence of adults. An exception is the need to leave the car for 5 minutes or less.

Children from 7 to 12 years old (7-11 years old inclusive)

The age group from 7 to 11 years old, inclusive, in the same vehicles that meet the standard requirements, can move in two ways. They are allowed to ride without a seat in a car, using only seat belts, but it is allowed and morally encouraged to use the seats. This is what can be understood by what point the legislator puts in the first place.

In the front seats at this age, travel is allowed strictly in protective seats.

It is forbidden to install special restraints in any way that contradicts the vehicle operating manual.

Those under 12 years of age are not allowed to sit in the rear seats of motorcycles while driving. The division into groups of up to 7 and up to 12 years seems to be quite reasonable, because even the behavior in such age groups varies very much. Some mysterious "other means of transport" have disappeared from the new edition. Drivers who transport school-aged children in the back seats can now avoid spending on special seats.

These changes are justified by the fact that restraint chairs help to reduce trauma to toddlers by 52–80% (depending on the exact age).

The fine for non-compliance with the mandatory rules for transporting children is 3,000 rubles.

Although it is possible to carry schoolchildren from 7 to 12 years old without a child car seat in the back seat, it is possible with a simple seat belt, experts still recommend choosing the most secure option.

There are exceptions, they are allowed due to objective circumstances:

  • children over 1.4 m and heavier than 36 kg;
  • moving little disabled people;
  • delivery of sick children to medical institutions;
  • transporting a child by taxi or passing transport in a hard-to-reach, remote area;
  • the need to urgently leave the area of a natural disaster or bad weather conditions;
  • the need to transport a lot of people in a car (in general or in the back row).

For those who are interested in whether it is possible to transport children in a car without protective seats or not, it is worth familiarizing yourself with not only the formal rules. There is data of inexorable statistics: in 2016, 94 of them died in 2,142 accidents with minors (under 12 years old). Over 2,400 were injured. Moreover, the death rate among those who are not restrained by protective systems or seat belts increases every year. Additional information about protective systems can be found in GOST 2005.

According to it, the restraint can be created by combining an adapter with a seat belt. The standard stipulates the use of elastic cushions that complement any "adult" belt. There is also a guide strap that keeps the shoulder strap fit for children. According to the standards of the standard, the guide strap cannot carry a powerful dynamic load. Adjustment of its placement is carried out using a device that can be moved up or down.

Adolescents (12 years and older)

Teenagers (everyone over 12 years old) can move with the regular seat belts, without additional protection. For your information: those under 12 years old, but exceeding the established parameters of growth and weight, can move in the same mode - only in the rear seats. Adolescents with normal physical development are fully protected by standard restraint devices.

The choice of car seats for teenagers must comply with the European safety category ECE R44.03. The weight of the carried load when choosing is much more important than the formal age classification, because the latter is of a recommendatory nature.

Carrying children in the front seat

Children under 2 years of age can only be moved in the front on seats equipped with car "cradles". In this case, small passengers should be oriented towards the side opposite to the direction of the car. From 7 to 12 years old, it is allowed to move children in both rows, but only in a special chair, carefully selected for the height and weight of the child. After the age of 12, children can be transported in the front seat with a seat belt. Operation of additional seats is optional.

Penalties

The widespread use of cars makes the question of how to transport children in a given situation very urgent. Responsible drivers try not only to avoid paying a fine for an unfastened child, for not having a seat, but also to guarantee maximum safety in principle. Previously, until the summer of 2017, it was allowed to use:

  • frameless systems;
  • "Books";
  • seat belt correctors.

But in the latest edition of the SDA, these funds are not mentioned at all. Therefore, their use is not allowed and is even punishable by a fine. Moving children in taxi cars deserves a separate discussion. Since there is no special order for this case, the standard rules are used. Most specialized organizations use equipment to restrain children in place.

Failure to comply with the established regulation may result in disciplinary sanctions for the driver. They can be imposed by the management of organizations and the controlling bodies of the car company. Administrative responsibility applies to the driver himself in the prescribed manner.

Criminal punishment is applied to drivers, other employees of taxi companies, including their management, if the life and health of a minor passenger is under threat.

Administrative penalties can be expressed as:

  • corrective work;
  • administrative arrest;
  • verbal warning;
  • restrictions on the right to engage in certain activities.

If a taxi driver takes a passenger from 12 years old without seat belt, he will have to pay 1000 rubles. If children travel without a seat belt, the amount of the fine is three times greater. Parents will have to pay it only with the participation of at least one of them in the management. The amount of the penalty does not depend on how many passengers travel at the same time. The belt should be used on all seats, regardless of row.

According to the Code of Administrative Offenses, company officials who violated the rules for transporting children in a car must pay 25 thousand rubles. A legal entity (organization) must pay one hundred thousand already.

The use of boosters and adapters is unacceptable, especially with small children. When the police check the observance of the rules for the transportation of children, they must also check the presence of MTPL.

Even installing a chair without actually using it is considered a violation.

Since the safety of children worries people even outside the context of fines, it is worth dwelling on this. It is unacceptable to purchase used car seats, they may have externally minor damage that impairs safety.

Universal car seats (designed for two age groups or more) are less safe than specialized ones. Category 0+ is considered more practical and convenient than "0". It is supposed to put such a chair in the direction of the car until the child can sit on his own.

It is recommended to study the certificates and crash test reports for the materials used. Placing textile seams in the center of the head restraint is inconvenient for some of the young passengers. Much more practical is the lateral fastening of the belts. It is advisable to buy the one that is better in orthopedic terms among two models that are generally identical. It is also important to check if the retaining straps are too short.

For information on at what age a child can ride without a car seat, see the next video.

According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, “the transportation of children under 7 years old in the back seat and up to 12 years old in the front seat is carried out in vehicles equipped with seat belts, using child restraints appropriate for the weight and height of the child, or other means that allow the child to be fastened using seat belts provided for by the design of the vehicle ”.

Thus, the law obliges parents to use a child restraint in a car until they are 7 years old and 12 years old if you are carrying them in the front seat.

The traffic rules stipulate that the frame of the child restraint must not have any visible external or internal damage. Any cracks or dents that affect the integrity of the seat are not acceptable. It is also important to monitor the wear of the straps of the standard car belt and the internal straps of the car seat so that they do not have scuffs and tears.

Carriage of a child under 12 years old (in the front seat) and up to 7 years old in the back in a car without a special restraint entails administrative liability and is punishable by a fine. Until 2013, the amount of the penalty payment was insignificant - 500 rubles. Today you will have to pay for the lack of a car seat 3000 rubles.

It's important to know!

The presence of a car seat in the cabin will not save you from administrative responsibility if the child is in your arms during the trip. The holding device should be used for its intended purpose, and not be "ticked". The fine in this case will be 3000 rubles.

Weight and height matter!

Answering the question "up to how many years should children ride in a car seat?", You need to pay attention to indicators such as height and weight. According to the law, a small passenger must ride in a car seat up to 7 and 12 years old. However, age is a relative indicator, as children grow and develop in different ways.

The guideline for parents should be weight - 36 kg, and height - 150 cm. If at 12 years old the child “does not reach” these indicators, do not rush to give up the car seat. The standard seat belt is not able to fully fulfill its protective function for a passenger below 150 cm, as it goes too high and fixes the child's body incorrectly. Special pads (adapters) will help to "lower" the belt strap into the correct position, but they cannot be compared with the car seat in terms of reliability.

There are cases when the use of a car seat is not possible even before the child reaches the age when he can ride without a child car seat. If the child is tall and overweight, they may simply not fit into the restraint and booster. When the height exceeds 150 cm, and the weight is 36 kg, the passenger is fastened with a regular car seat belt.

Do I need a moped license, interests many owners of this vehicle, since until recently they were not required. Do you need a license for a moped and is there an age limit for the right to drive it, we will consider in detail in this article.

Moped license

Mopeds and motorcycles were very popular in the Soviet Union. During the years of perestroika, their popularity declined, but now they are again in great demand. Especially among adolescents, since until the age of majority, other vehicles are simply not available to them. But do you need a moped license?

Since 2014, the road traffic regulations define a moped as a power-driven vehicle and oblige to obtain a category M license for driving it. Also, the rights of any other open category are suitable for driving this transport. For driving a moped without traffic rights, the driver is administratively liable in the form of a fine, the amount of which varies from 5 to 15 thousand rubles.

Who can get the rights of category M

No less than the previous question, adolescents are worried about another thing: from how old can you ride a moped and get a license?

According to the law, a driver's license for the right to drive a moped can be obtained by persons who have reached the age of 16 and whose health meets certain medical requirements. This means that before undergoing training in a driving school, you need to go through a medical commission and get an examination from doctors.

Don't know your rights?

A candidate for a license must not have restrictions and contraindications for driving this vehicle. So, diseases, in the presence of which it is forbidden to drive any transport, include:

  • schizophrenia;
  • mental illness associated with the use of psychotropic medications;
  • blindness;
  • epilepsy, etc.

How and where to get your moped license?

Exams for obtaining a driver's license are held in the traffic police departments. You can find out about the time of the exam and the procedure for the operation of these structures on the website of state services; before passing the exam, you need to undergo training at a driving school. The educational institution must be licensed and conduct training of the appropriate category, which lasts 1.5-2 months. During this period, general theoretical rules are studied and the practice of driving a moped is perfected.

The exam itself consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The first one takes place on a computer, in the process of submitting two incorrect answers are allowed. The practical part is handed over at a special site, where you need to complete a certain list of maneuvers.

If the candidate does not pass any of the parts, then he can be admitted to the re-delivery no earlier than 7 days later. If the exam is not passed 3 times in a row, re-admission is possible only after 30 days. Upon successful completion of all parts of the exam, the driver receives a license of the corresponding category for 10 years.

Documents required to obtain rights:

  • passport;
  • certificates from a neuropsychiatric dispensary and from a narcologist;
  • general medical certificate;
  • application of the established form;
  • receipt of payment of state duty;
  • documents confirming the completion of training.
