Razor of Mehrunes is a dagger with good characteristics and a small chance to kill when hitting the enemy. This chance is equal to about two percent, so you should not rely on it.

Legend

Protected by the Dark Brotherhood for generations, the Razor of Mehrunes is capable of instantly destroying any living creature. During the entire existence of this artifact, not a single guardian has been recorded. However, it is now known that as a result of a bloody internecine struggle, the Dark Brotherhood was almost completely destroyed, and the participation of Mehrunes' Razor can be traced in these events.

Another legend associated with this dagger tells of the ancient Ayleid city of Varsa Baalim. Inside this city is the intimidating structure of Mehrunes Dagon. To get hold of the Razor of Mehrunes, the traveler must pass a difficult test.

A very useful mace at the beginning of the game. Allows you to capture the souls of enemy people and animals, applying an appropriate effect on them on impact. There are no level restrictions to complete the quest to obtain it, and the task itself does not cause difficulties.

Legend

The Mace of Molag Bal is also known as the Mace of the Vampire. This name was given to her for a reason: she draws out the magic and vitality of the victim, transferring it to the wearer. Molag Bal is calm about whoever wields this mace. It seems that more than one wizard has been killed with this legendary artifact.

Wabbajack allows you to turn opponents into a random creature. With its help, you can easily deal with opponents of various levels even at the initial stage of the game, but, on the other hand, if you abuse Wabbajack, you risk losing your "gameplay interest" in the game.

Legend

Wabbajack is the true embodiment of madness and chaos, the worst qualities of the Daedric Prince Sheogorath. The staff turns the victim into a random creature.

Volendrang is a powerful hammer with a stamina drain effect. The paralyzing effect that the hammer was famous for throughout the games in the series has been removed.

Legend

Volendrang was forged by the Rourken Dwemer hundreds of years before their disappearance from Tamriel. According to legend, before the Dwemer went into voluntary exile from Morrowind due to irreconcilable enmity with the Chimer, the leader of their clan threw a hammer across Tamriel, then leading his people to where the hammer fell. These lands were later named Vollenfell - "Land of the Hammer".

Volendrang has terrible paralyzing and life-sucking effects, but it is famous for its sudden disappearance, then reappearing after months or years.

The Rose of Sanguine is a staff that allows you to summon a Dremora from Sanguine's Daedric plane to help you. Dremora disappears a minute after it appears.

Legend

Rose of Sanguine, when used, summons a minor Daedra to help the wearer. When used, the rose withers until it finally disappears completely. At the same time, in the vastness of Oblivion, a new Rose blooms, which Sanguine himself picks off in order to present it to a new hero.

Blade of the Daedric Princess Meridia. Effective against undead.

Legend

No.

Skull of Corruption deals minor damage when cast on an enemy. Allows you to steal people's dreams while they sleep, and thereby increase the power of the staff.

Legend

Using the Skull of Corruption on an enemy spawns a copy of it, which begins to fight on the side of the staff carrier. One day, the Master of Thieves Guild used a staff on his opponent to get rid of him. After the murder, the clone, bound by a spell and unable to attack the owner of the Skull of Corruption, stole the artifact and used it on the Master. After being killed, both clones ruled the guild for many years.

When struck, it transfers part of the opponent's health to the owner of the sword. This effect is enhanced when your character kills people from the immediate environment.

Legend

The ebony blade is sometimes called the Vampire or Leech. Whenever the wearer of the sword strikes an opponent with it, some of the damage done is transferred to him in the form of raw raw energy. Once a certain wizard put a charm on an artifact to save the souls of those who use it for a long time.

Breastplate of the Savior's Skin

A light breastplate with low magic resistance and a fairly high resistance to poison.

Legend

The Daedric Prince Hircine awarded the skin to the first and last mortal who was able to get out of his hunting grounds. From this skin the unknown made the Cuirass of the Savior's Skin, which was supposed to help him on further wanderings. Legends say that the cuirass travels from one owner to another at will.

Ring for real aesthetes: increases the reserve of strength, and when eating corpses, restores health and adds a regeneration effect.

Legend

Namira's ring, like its mistress, the Daedric princess Namira, is associated with the dark side of nature. Any damage done by melee or magic to the wearer of this ring is returned to the attacker if he is not an animal. Daedra, being supernatural beings, receive only half of the damage done, and undead, as a phenomenon unnatural, takes twice as much damage.

Allows the character to transform into a lycanthrope one more time per day. There is no point in wearing the ring for a character who is not a lycanthrope.

Legend

Hircine's ring turns all the disadvantages associated with lycanthropy into an advantage. The bearer of this artifact himself has the right to choose when to take the form of a beast, and when not. Incredible strength, speed and endurance make the lycanthrope a very dangerous opponent, even for a seasoned warrior.

This artifact can be useful when trading.

Legend

This artifact was created for himself personally by the vain Daedric prince Clavicus Vile. The wearer of the mask becomes significantly more attractive than he was, and can please any resident of Tamriel. Legends say that a certain Avalia, a noblewoman, disfigured as a child by an evil servant, took advantage of the Mask. She made a dark deal with Clavicus Vile, after which she received the artifact at her disposal. The mask did not change her appearance, however, for those around her, Avalle became damn attractive. A year and one day after the wedding of the noblewoman with the noble Baron, Clavicus Vile took his Mask back. Avalia, being pregnant, was immediately expelled from the baron's estate. Twenty-one years and one day later, her daughter avenged her mother by killing the baron.

The Spellbreaker creates a "free" charm that protects well against offensive spells. In addition, the shield has the highest default armor rating in the game among, however the improved Daedric shield is still much better than the improved Spellbreaker.

Legend

The Spellbreaker looks like a large Dwemer shield, in fact it is one of the most ancient relics of Tamriel. In addition to the fact that this shield played a great historical role in the Battle of Rourken-Shalidor, it protects the wearer from almost any spell - reflecting magic or casting a spell of silence on the one who is trying to cast spells. It is said that the Destroyer is looking for its first owner and does not stay with anyone for long. But for most, even short-term possession of the Destroyer gives great strength.

Excellent armor for long-term combat, as it pours poison on the enemy. It is not very suitable for conducting covert operations, since in some cases enemies begin to notice you before you have time to swing your blade and cut your throat.

Legend

Ebony Mail is an armor created during the prehistoric era by the Dark Elven goddess Boethiah. She alone determines who can wield this armor and for how long. The strength of the armor gives the wearer protection from fire, magic, and a magical shield. Not only does Boethiah determine who and how long will wear the Ebony Mail - she can also be very capricious.

Skeleton Key

Unbreakable master key, moreover, with a unique appearance. Disappears upon completion of the Thieves Guild main storyline. Should it then be completed?

Legend

The power of the Skeleton Key is quite simple. With the help of it, any door, locked in a non-magical way, or a chest, easily become accessible even for an inexperienced burglar. Especially skillful burglars, when using the Key, will even be able to open some magically locked doors. Two prohibitions imposed on the Key by the wizards who tried to protect their warehouses were that the Key can only be used once a day, and it never remains in the possession of one thief for a long time. Some owners made themselves rich even before the disappearance of the Key, while others were able to penetrate into places where they could never enter.

Ogma Infinium

A very useful book that gives +5 to the skills of the selected specialization when reading. It is most beneficial to use it when the skill value is approaching the limit.

Legend

Oghma Infinum is a book of knowledge written by the sage magician Xarxes and filled with the knowledge he received from Hermaeus Mora. Everyone who reads the Infinum is filled with the energy of the artifact, which can be used to develop one of the abilities to a level close to that of a demigod. Once read, the legends say, the Oghma Infinium will disappear.

Endless soul stone. He or Black Star should be in the inventory of every self-respecting dragonborn mage.

Legend

Few mortals dare to trade in souls. These merchants include the Dark Brotherhood and some members of the Mages Guild. It is for these merciless people that the Star of Azura is a special relic. This artifact is a reusable soul gem. The soul of any slain creature gets inside the Star, except for those cases when the Star already contains a soul. Azura's Star, each time sending a captured soul to Oblivion, is used multiple times to create enchanted items.

Or the Skin of the Savior.

The task is taken in Falkreath, in the cemetery where the father of his tragically deceased daughter grieves, also accepting cabbage for sale. We listen to his story, and he talks about someone named Sinding, about the person currently in prison. The task we need appears: Call of the Moon.

We are heading to the prison, it is in the barracks.

We go along the quest marker and go downstairs. We go to the left and see: our killer is grieving.

We speak with him, he tells us that he stole Hircin's ring, and the latter cursed the ring for such a betrayal. Oh yeah, I completely forgot, Sinding breaks up and confesses: he is a werewolf. Hircine's ring will do nothing for you if you are not a werewolf. If you are still hurt by the curse of the Daedric lord of the hunt, then it will accidentally turn you into a huge dog.

In any case, we will have to kill the monster in which Hircine is hiding.

Along the way (if you are walking from Falkreath) you will see a small ambush of two bandits, with bows, of course.

We sneak up on a monster, which, by the way, is not a bit of a monster. This is a white deer. What fool called this animal a monster? Well, in general, not the point, we kill the deer and see in front of us his spirit, which is the embodiment of Hircine.

We ask him to clear this ring, and with intricate words he tells us a simple truth - nothing happens for free and sends us to the Drowned Man's Grotto.

* It would be nice to visit the Drowned Man's Grotto before this quest. Why? There lies Bolar's blade to scare away and a note from Bolar, they say, I am the last one who defended the Temple of the Lord of the Clouds (the same one from TES: 4 Oblivion) and the Thalmor are following me, I am going to my death. And a hint that if you find this blade, cut the Thalmor with it!

We leave for this Grotto.

We go in and see Sinding standing on the hill and wondering: what have we forgotten here?

Option one

We agree with Hircine and go to chop Sinding together with other hunters. As a reward, we receive the Savior's skin, according to legend Hircin took it off himself.

Option two

We disagree with Hircine and go to help Sinding in the hunt for the hunters, thereby arranging a hunt for them. Hunting hunters, nice, isn't it? As a reward, we get a refined Hircine's Ring, which allows you to transform into a Hairy Dog twice a day, instead of one.

In Skyrim, the Savior's Skin is a Daedric artifact that is given to the protagonist as a quest reward. What needs to be done to receive such an award will be discussed in the article.

Quest

"Call of the Moon" - this is the name of the task that the Dovakin needs to complete to get the Skin of the Savior in Skyrim.

The artifact is a cuirass made from the skin of a werewolf quest giver named Sinding. There are two ways to complete the quest:

  • fulfill the will of the Daedra prince Hircine and kill the werewolf;
  • disobey and keep Sinding alive.

In the first case, the mentioned skin will be the reward, in the second - the ring of Hircine. There is a little trick: you can return to the werewolf after receiving the ring and kill, and take the cuirass from the corpse.

Thus, you can get both artifacts. In Skyrim, the Savior's Skin has the following characteristics:

  • weight: 6;
  • protection points: 26;
  • enchantment: increased resistance to magic effects by 15%, as well as to poisons by 50%.

Leather is used for upgrades at the workbench. Enchantment cannot be removed on the Pentagram of Souls without using the appropriate modifications.

Mod for retexture Savior's skins

In Skyrim, the artifact has undergone a slight change, all thanks to the efforts of enthusiastic modmakers. Both the female version of the armor and the male version have undergone changes.

Replayer Skin of the Savior in Skyrim changed the color of the cuirass to crimson. In addition, the coat is more elaborate and looks like a real mane. All details have been worked out more clearly, the cuirass looks "as if alive" in the game.

If you disassemble the quest in detail, you can see that Sinding is the damned who killed the little girl, being under the influence of the Daedric artifact - the ring of Hircine. Tormented by pangs of conscience, he entrusts the protagonist with the task of returning the jewelry to the Daedra prince and persuading him to remove the curse. Accordingly, you can either side with Sinding and kill the hunters sent by Hircine, or vice versa.

It is noteworthy that if at the time of taking the quest the protagonist himself is a werewolf, then you should immediately leave the city, because the ring will be automatically put on the dovahkin's finger. And this already threatens an uncontrolled transformation into a wolf in a crowded place.

Better to apply while in the woods. In this case, all items of equipment are "discarded". After returning to human form, you can put on the desired ring, and leave the Hircine artifact in your backpack.

After completing the quest, the ring will allow you to take the form of a beast an unlimited number of times. If the character is a vampire, then there will be no changes.

Outcome

In summary, it should be said that in Skyrim the Savior's Skin is one of the many artifacts bestowed by Daedric princes for completing difficult tasks. Such, as a rule, imply deals with the conscience, the murder of representatives of various races who are included in the list of enemies of a particular Daedra.

Everyone decides for himself which side of the quest to take and how to proceed. There are no moral indicators here. The main thing is that the guards do not see. And then they will set off in pursuit or put on the wanted list. And this already threatens with undesirable consequences for the protagonist.
