“There’s nothing better than a cozy and romantic date night!” says Jess. “When the only walk I have to do is from the car to the restaurant, then I can gladly put on my highest heels! I have these wine-colored ankle boots that have been with me for two years now and I really think that they are in a style that remains relevant, modern and, as it were, always timeless.

I can wear this pair with anything from distressed jeans to slacks, but I especially love wearing them with a lace dress. Since it's a cold winter here in New England, I decided to wear a warm turtleneck sweater over my dress. The wine color of the ankle boots adds a nice youthful look to the look.”

“When I have to go to a meeting I have, I want to feel comfortable,” Jess says. “The last thing I want to think about is pain in my feet or worry about tripping in high heels and falling in front of a client. (How awkward!)

That's why low-top leather boots with a round toe are my favorite shoes when I have to attend meetings and events all day.
