Pattern and detailed description of a crocheted bandana. Crocheted bandana: how to knit using MK for beginners with patterns

Antipyretics for children are prescribed by a pediatrician. But there are emergency situations with fever when the child needs to be given medicine immediately. Then the parents take responsibility and use antipyretic drugs. What is allowed to be given to infants? How can you lower the temperature in older children? What medications are the safest?

Hats are necessary, especially for children, both in winter and summer. Little children's heads are very susceptible to environmental irritants, and we suggest keeping them safe. And a crocheted bandana will help you with this. This is not only a beautiful item of clothing, but also a useful thing.

Little pirate

One of the ideas for decorating a bandana for a boy is the image of a little pirate, hardened by the harsh sea sun. It is perfect for both everyday use and a themed children's party. In terms of the degree of difficulty of knitting, it is at an average level, and therefore if you have not encountered knitting before, use the patterns that will be in the article.

For a head with a girth of 40 cm you will need: CoCo yarn (100% cotton, 240 m/50 g) – 30 g of white, milk and red remains, hook No. 2, 1 and an adhesive eye.

Description of work: cast on a chain of 5 vp with white yarn, close it into a ring. Knit 16 s in the center of the ring. s/n and then knit according to pattern 1.

After all the rows of the pattern are knitted, leave 1 cell of the fillet mesh for the cut and knit in straight and reverse rows, repeating the last 2 rows of pattern 1 5 more times (it is shown in the photo above). For ties, place chains of 40-50 chains along the edges of the cut. p. and knit 2 rows of b/n stitches on them. Tie the edges of the bandana, the opening and the ties with single stitches, one row of white yarn and one row of red yarn.

How to knit the “Pirate” applique: use milky yarn to knit a circle according to pattern 2.

Use red yarn to knit headbands according to pattern 3.

Tie the part with one row of non-woven posts. Embroider speckles over the entire surface of the headband. Sew an applique onto the bandana, embroider a mouth, nose, sew or glue an eye, as shown in the photo.

Openwork headband

Happy mothers of little princesses want to give them only the best, from head to toe. We suggest starting with the head, namely, knitting a simple but very beautiful openwork Panama hat for a girl. Follow this tutorial for beginners and you will succeed.

Bandana for 3-5 years. To start, you will need Tulip yarn (100% microfiber, 250 m/50 g) – 100 g lilac, knitting needles and hook No. 2, 5.

Attention! The product is made with two folds of thread. Rib 1*1: knit alternately 1 knit stitch and 1 purl loop. Cast on 110 loops on knitting needles and knit 2 cm with 1*1 elastic band. Then crochet in every 4th loop a chain of 9 air loops, in the 2nd and each subsequent row - knit in every 5th loop (middle of the chain). Knit the first 4 rows in straight and reverse rows, from the 5th to the 20th row, knit in the round. Knitting pattern:

Pull the cap at the top and sew a seam. Crochet a bow: on an elastic band and on 4 rows on both sides, knit 7 fountains from 9 air. Loop. Work 10 rows, then knit 1 less scallop on each side until 1 scallop remains. Thread the bow through the hole above the elastic band. Attach a flower on top of the ends. You will get this women's bandana:

With all the abundance of handmade summer hats on the Internet, it must be said that the vast majority of them are girly, and it is very difficult to find a successful model of a summer knitted hat for a boy, so I had to “invent” a bandana-type hat for my son for the summer (with ties at the back ). This required 100% cotton yarn, crazy hands, a hook and imagination. Let's see what happened in the end)))

Since most thin “holey” hats knitted in the round seem more “girly” to me personally, I decided to knit them using a more complex pattern. The most successful examples of “boyish” summer bandana-type hats:

So, looking at these photos, you can understand that they are connected according to a similar principle (the pattern may differ, but the “pattern” is the same).

Here is an approximate diagram of the constituent elements of a bandana hat:

First, I knitted a long strip with single crochets, in fact the strip was a bandage on the forehead, with ties at the back of the head. Next, having estimated the middle of the headband, I knitted the central part (about 14 cm wide), and the “tail” turned out to be tapering downward (it could have been left wider).

We knit the initial strip with single crochets, and the central strip according to the second pattern

This part should be quite long so that the tail covers the neck (so that the neck does not get sunburned in the sun). The pattern is quite simple - alternating a row of double crochets and a row of double crochets - an air loop - a double crochet (like a fillet). Next is the most difficult part - the sides. The sidewalls are 2 semicircles, and their height is the height of the cap from the original strip. I knitted the sides with an even more “holey” pattern to ensure maximum ventilation. Anyone familiar with knitting in the round can easily figure out how to make a half circle.

Semicircle patterns for knitting a bandana

Having departed from the edge of the central part the planned height of the semicircle (radius), you need to either form an arch (see diagram above), or alternatively you can knit 6 double crochets into one base - you will get a small “semicircle”, and then we knit the next rows of this semicircle, turning the fabric over at the end of the row.

There were 9 rows in total. Like a regular circle, increases are constantly made here (I also switched from single crochets to double crochets to make the “holes” larger). I crocheted 2 finished sides to the central part (we got protruding “outer” seams, but they don’t spoil the product at all, but on the contrary give it a “boyish” quality).

Because after trying it on (my child hates it, so I do it 1-2 times at most), it turned out that the depth of the hat was not enough, so I had to knit a few more rows of single crochets along the edge of the original strip (and the strings became thicker).

So, on a whim, and having only basic patterns, you can crochet a very impressive summer bandana for a boy, and if you also experiment with changing colors and decorations, you will get a super thing that a child will love to wear (mine is already between a baseball cap and with a knitted bandana he chooses the second).

Beautiful crochet bandanas and hats for boys

Thanks to the ties, this hat stays on the head very well, even if the child hangs upside down in it (and he will!) it will not fall off. But in principle, you can do it without ties, and in general, using this principle, even knit warm hats, not only for your son, but maybe even for your husband))) This is a good worthy alternative to knitting in the round, it looks very cool and boyish.

Take this wonderful idea and, as always, happy knitting to you and gorgeous new clothes for your kids!

The bandana as an element of clothing goes back to the days of the Wild West, when travelers protected their respiratory tract from dust by tying bandanas around their necks. Today, it is used more for decorative purposes or as protection from ultraviolet rays, and at the same time, the bandana has not lost its popularity for many decades. A crocheted bandana not only protects your head from direct sunlight, but also protects the delicate skin of your neck from burns, while adding a special style to your appearance.

The bandana is equally suitable for both adults and children, both girls and boys. And if you want to add some zest to your baby’s or your own look, decorate the bandana with some interesting pattern. A child will like a bright car or a favorite cartoon character, while an adult will like some kind of floral ornament or geometric abstraction.

A bandana knitted using a regular crochet, due to its simplicity of execution, will allow you to make a variety of headdresses for any outfit or look, in addition, it is a very elegant thing that is ideal for styles such as stalker and unisex.

The patterns for knitting a bandana are different - you can knit it in the shape of a regular hat with a slit in the back and attach strings to the structure, or you can assemble it from two semicircular parts and a rectangular front part. Everyone decides for themselves how to knit this or that bandana, but both of these methods are good and correct in their own way.

Bandanas are traditionally considered a man's headdress, but if your little princess is also not indifferent to such a thing, then there is nothing difficult in tying one for a girl. In terms of knitting methods, a women's bandana is no different from a men's one, just use a more feminine color of yarn and choose a decoration that is more suitable for a girl.

How to make a DIY crochet bandana for beginners

Before you start knitting a bandana, you need to choose the yarn to work with. Since a bandana is primarily a summer headwear, thin mercerized 100% cotton in light shades is best suited for it, since dark colors attract the sun's rays.

Let's take a closer look at how to quickly and easily crochet a bandana using MK for beginners as an example.

For work we will need:

  • Hook No. 2;
  • Yarn for knitting – 50g (100% cotton, 50g/282m).

You can use a sewn bandana as a pattern, or try it on directly on the child.

Stages of knitting a bandana.

We knit the side semicircular parts, and you can use this pattern or any other pattern you like best. We tie the finished parts with single crochets, and you should get two parts like this.

At this stage we knit the frontal part. In order to give the shape of the back of the head, it is necessary to make darts - for this, at a distance of 3 cm from the edge in each row on both sides, we knit 2 stitches together.

To get a hole like this:

We knit the “tail” to the required length, and in the last 5-6 rows we make decreases - we knit three columns together. Finally, we also tie the piece with single crochets.

We connect the lateral semicircular parts to the frontal part with a chain stitch.

We cast on about 50 chain stitches (for ties), join the bottom of the bandana, knit single crochets and again 50 chain stitches. Then we knit 5 - 6 turning rows with single crochets.

The boy's bandana is ready! In this way, you can knit many similar hats and bandanas on the head of your bully or little princess to protect them from the scorching rays of the sun, because children spend a lot of time in the sun and are more often exposed to overheating and sunstroke than adults.

Now let's look at how to knit this versatile headdress in a circular manner using the example of a master class on making a bandana for a girl.

To make this bandana, we will need the same materials and tools as for the previous master class (the only difference is the color of the yarn).

Stages of work.

To begin, we put five chain loops on the hook and connect them into a circle.

In the next row we make three lifting loops and knit the entire row with single crochets, making two stitches in each loop. That is, from a circle of five air loops we should get a row of ten columns.

We also begin the next rows with lifting loops, but we make additions less often - every three or four loops - the main thing is to ensure that the product does not curl.

The knitted circle is the crown of the child's head. As soon as its diameter has become sufficient, you can start knitting the sides of the bandana - to do this, we knit the remaining rows as usual, without any additions and only make decreases if necessary.

At this stage, we begin knitting the ties on the back side of the bandana - to do this, we knit 8 - 10 half-columns from the end point of the last row.

Then we make three lifting air loops and knit a row of double crochets to the point where the half-stitches begin to be knitted.

Turn the knitting and knit another row of single crochets. Next, we knit a couple more rows in the same way and, having knitted to the end, we put on the hook about 30 - 50 air loops for tying.

We turn the knitting, knit a row of double crochets to the opposite end of the bandana and again make the same number of chain stitches for tying as on the opposite edge.

We turn the knitting and knit the entire tie with double crochets and then, to smooth the row, 2 single crochets and 3 half double crochets.

Take yarn of a different color and tie the edges of the bandana with single crochets.

The bandana is ready. Now, to give it a more feminine look, you need to decorate it with a pattern. In this case, these will be flowers, knitting patterns for which you can come up with yourself or find on the Internet.

The result is such a simple, but at the same time original and interesting product.
