Description:
This simple mod is another one of the nice little things from Utopium. With it, in the game Skyrim, you can very easily rename any items in your inventory through the MCM menu.
Rename items in the inventory will apply to all items of this type in the game. For example, if you rename Iron Boots to Bath Slippers, then all Iron Boots in the game will now be called that.
The new item names will only be saved in the current saves of your game, and will not affect the names of the items given to them in the game on a permanent basis. This means that with the start of a new game, all items will have their usual names.

Note: This mod only allows you to rename items. To rename houses, locations, names of People, Creatures, Horses, Animals, spells, perks, races, quests and more, it is recommended to use a more complex mod.

How to use:
After installing the plugin, after some time, the "Rename Items" section will appear in the MCM menu. The menu will list the items you have in your inventory. To rename an item, simply select it. In the window that appears, enter a new name, and apply with the Enter key.
To return the old names of items, click RESTORE.

Requirements:
Game version 1.9.32.0.8
and higher
- optional (to switch the language layout in the game itself)

Incompatibilities:
unknown

Installation:(can be done manually or via NMM/MO managers)
Place the Data folder in the root of the game and activate in the launcher.
After installation, go into the game, and after a while, you will see a message about adding 1 new menu.

Enchantments in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim allow you to improve simple things in every way, giving them magical effects. The Enchantment Profession allows you to, for example, give additional cold damage to your sword or hang a health regeneration increase on armor.

You can enchant an item on a special magical enchantment altar, which can be found in all major cities, as well as placed in one of your houses in Skyrim. It looks like this:

Then, in order to magically improve an item, we first need the enchantment recipe itself, so to speak. To get it, you need to destroy any object with this effect on this altar.

That is, if we want our armor to strengthen blows with one-handed weapons, then first we need to destroy, for example, a ring with this enchantment.

On the item destruction screen, the effects that you already have are grayed out, those that can be destroyed and get a recipe are highlighted in white.

Then we need to choose an item and the enchantment we need. Keep in mind that not every type of weapon or armor is suitable for every enchantment. For example, only weapons can be enchanted with additional magical damage, but you can enhance the power of bow shots on a helmet, and so on. A list of enchantments for weapons and armor can be viewed.

The process of enchanting weapons and armor is also different from each other. Let's analyze it in more detail using the example of enchanting a sword:

Enchanted weapons do not constantly buff attacks, as there is a limitation in the form of charges. Their maximum number depends on the soul gem used and the strength of the enchantment, each of these parameters can be adjusted.

In this case, with an enchantment power of 9, the maximum number of charges when using the largest soul gem in your possession will be 99. The greater the enchantment power, the lower the maximum number of charges and, accordingly, vice versa.

Charges are spent, as you might guess, on strikes. One hit, one charge. But what to do when the charges run out? Don't worry, enchanted weapons can be reloaded, you don't even need an enchantment altar, just have a filled soul gem with you.

You just need to open your inventory, select the required enchanted weapon and press the "T" button.

After that, we select the soul stone and with the help of it we reload our weapon. It is not necessary to use the largest soul gem, smaller ones will just add a few charges, as shown by filling the gauge.

It is important to be careful not to use a larger stone to recharge, as doing so will simply waste it for the most part.

Unlike weapons, armor is enchanted forever, there are no charges. However, the strength of the enchantment is directly affected by the size of the soul gem. Let's take a closer look at where these stones come from and how to fill them.

The soul gem has two states: empty and filled. These stones vary in size, each of which allows you to absorb the soul of a larger creature. So, for example, the smallest stones can only absorb the soul of a rat or a wolf, when the largest ones can cope with a giant or a mammoth. You can view a list of creatures and a soul stone that fits them in size.

An empty soul gem can be filled with the Soul Trap spell from the Conjuration magic school. If you cast it on your victim and kill him within 60 seconds, you will absorb the soul into stone.

There is also a similar enchantment for weapons, after hitting which the soul of the enemy will be absorbed. After using the stone in the process of enchanting or recharging, it disappears.

It is worth considering that empty large soul gems can be placed smaller souls, so you need to be careful not to absorb the soul of a rat into a large stone, since large soul gems are quite expensive.

All types and sizes of soul stones are sold by various merchants, they can also be found while traveling or stolen. An excellent source of soul gems are mechanical monsters guarding various Dwemer ruins.

Enchanting is a skill that allows the player to add a variety of magical effects to their equipment. The more you upgrade Skyrim enchantments, the better the effect you add will be, and the more the quality and price of the enchanted item will increase. This skill tree has 9 perks, requiring 13 points to get all upgrades.

The application of the enchantment effect occurs at the time of use or during the reloading of an improved item. This skill has a rather complicated mechanism of action: to work with it, you need to use the Pentagram of Souls. In order to create a new item you need to have:

  1. Filled Soul Gem;

  2. Magic effect;

  3. The item you are about to enchant.

The power and duration of the effect applied to the original item depends on the skill level.

How to enchant things in Skyrim

In order to enchant an item, you need to select the “Item, Enchantment, Soul Stone” sections in the Pentagram of Souls and select what you need in each of them.

Enchanting skill increases with:

1. Recharging enchanted items;

2. Learning new charms;

2. Enchanting armor, clothing, shields and accessories that has a permanent passive effect on the character equipped with these items.

Soul Stones

In order to enchant items in Skyrim, you must have a filled soul stone. As mentioned above, the power of the effects of the enchanted thing depends on the size of the soul enclosed in the stone. You can find these stones during the course of the game already filled, or you can fill them yourself using the Soul Capture spell, which will enclose the soul of a dead opponent in a pure stone.

In order to have time to catch the soul, the spell must be cast on the target at a time when it is still alive and during the period of its action it is necessary to have time to kill the enemy. Keep in mind that if you do not have an empty stone in your inventory, soul capture will not occur. To capture a human soul, you must have a black soul stone with you.

Enchantment restoration

Each time you use an upgraded weapon, it will lose its available charges. To restore them, you need to go to the inventory menu and select the item you need. After that, in the interface you will notice the active button "T" - charge.

By clicking it, you will see a menu for choosing a soul stone.

When you select an available stone, the charge of the enchanted item will be restored again. The amount of charge replenished also depends on the size of the soul used. If you do not have a filled soul gem in your inventory, then you will not be able to restore spent charges.

How to quickly upgrade enchantment in Skyrim

1. Learn and apply "Soul Trap" to weapons;

2. Reload weapons using the Black Star after killing opponents (except for Dwemer mechanisms);

3. Buy a Black Star (for this you need to complete the quest of the same name).

4. Enchant items with small stones;

5. Collect empty soul stones and fill them;

6. Apply Cairn of Souls from the Dawnguard DLC (it is easy to collect souls, for example, from bone, foggy and furious people).

Bugs when enchanting

1. The cost of things that you enchant will become less after applying the same effects. Over time, the profit from mass enchantments begins to fall. However, this problem can be solved in the standard way: saving and loading.

By loading into the last save, you will see that the prices of enchanted items in your inventory will become maximum.

2. The spell "Soul Trap" does not work with certain types of Dwarven weapons (for example, Radiance of Dawn);

3. Sometimes after loading the last save there are bugs with the charge of the weapon.

4. Items of the same type with the same effects, but with different names due to a glitch can take the same name. This can be fixed by rearranging the order of enchantments on items during enchantment.

5. Having learned how to enchant weapons in Skyrim, many try to apply effects on daggers that increase the skill of one-handed weapons, but these enchantments do not affect them.
